The budget of Almaty for 2018 was approved about 431.2 billion tenge during the XXV session of the Maslikhat of the VI convocation, reports press service of the Mayor of Almaty.

Next year, the priority number one is landscaping, gardening and improvement of the ecological situation, where more than a third of the city development budget is directed. Primarily, the development of public transport and transport infrastructure accounts for more than a fifth of all costs.

Next year, subsidies for the transportation of new buses with a high quality of services will be carried out. More than 600,000 citizens will be compensated for preferential transit. The construction of two metro stations will continue, which will increase passenger traffic by more than 1.5 times, to 18 million passengers per year, the press service informed.

Recall, nowadays, all the indicators of the social and economic development of Almaty city show positive dynamics. The growth rate of the city's economy for the first half of 2017 was 4%, investment in fixed assets for 11 months was 15.7%.
