GM Uzbekistan joint-stock company changed its name to Uzavto Motors JSC, the UzTAG reports.

Earlier it was reported that the name changes due to the fact that in 2018 the state enterprise Uzavtosanoat bought out shares of the joint venture GM Uzbekistan from the American company General Motors.

The decision to change the name was taken unanimously on June 26. The corresponding changes in the constituent documents were registered on July 1.

Recall that GM Uzbekistan was founded in 2008 and for more than 10 years was a joint venture of state-owned Uzavtosanoat and American General Motors.
