On June 27, Bishkek starts the Vth World Festival of the Eposes of the Worlds.

More than 60 scientists and researchers from all CIS countries, Baltic states and Georgia will take part in its work. The festival participants will have an extensive program, which will consist of two parts - a scientific, practical, and cultural and educational one.

The festival will host a symposium where scientists and researchers will discuss issues of preservation and development of the epic heritage, share their work experience, talk about achievements and problems in this area. In the cultural program of the festival, guests and participants will be shown the nomadic costumes, an exhibition-fair of handicraft art.

As part of this festival, the Best Kyrgyz Yurt, Nomad Style, Best Manaschi and Best Dastanchi contests will be held.
