President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to attend a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the press service of the Kyrgyz President.

The heads of the two states discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Also discussed were measures to increase trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and cross-border cooperation.

The presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation in all areas of bilateral relations.
