Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev, reports the press service of Akorda.

The head of state was informed about the socio-economic development of the Turkestan region. Akim of the region also reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the progress of construction of the city of Turkestan and the construction of basic social infrastructure.

Following the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan gave a number of specific instructions.
