Tashkent is implementing 19 new investment projects for more than $ 617 million, reports the press service of the President.

On May 20, Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the presentation of promising investment projects planned for implementation in Tashkent.

“In accordance with these instructions, 19 new investment projects were prepared for a total amount of more than $ 617 million for implementation in the city of Tashkent. Over 10 thousand jobs will be created within the framework of industrial projects. There will be a possibility of annual production of demanded products in the amount of about $ 1 billion and export of goods for more than $ 290 million a year,” the message reads.

The projects provide for the production of products with high added value and localization level, including a wide range of household appliances, elevators and escalators, pumps, water heaters, paper and building materials, food products, household chemicals, jewelry and glass products.
