 
                                    The amount of Tajik electricity exports last year amounted to about 77 million US dollars, reports the agency for statistics of Tajikistan.
This figure is 23.5 million dollars or 44.1% more than in 2017,
In the import section of official statistics there is no separate chapter on the volume of electricity exports and only indicates the amount of its sales abroad. The main buyers of Tajik electricity were Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
Earlier it was reported that in the first nine months of last year, about 1.5 billion kW / h of Tajik electricity was exported to Uzbekistan alone.
According to the country's energy sector, in January-December 2018, the country produced 19 billion 708.3 million kW / h of electricity, which is 8.8% more than in 2017.
