President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyev allowed state employees to spend Sunday with his family, reports press service of the government of Uzbekistan.

Civil servants will now work until 5 pm on Saturday, and on Sundays rest.

"Now on Saturday the work will last until 17:00, and Sunday - the day off. The President said that we pay attention to families. At the same time, he stressed that civil servants must cope with all the functional duties assigned to them in a qualitative and effective manner during working hours," the message reads.

Recall, in the spring of 2017 the President declared a "state of emergency" for the leadership of the republic with an enhanced regime of work.
