The deputies of senate made a change to law of "State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan". According to the new amendments, the inscription "Kazakhstan" in the State Emblem will be changed to Latin alphabet from the Cyrillic.

The draft law approved by the Senate deputies is now sent to the President for consideration. If the President approves this change, the National Emblem of the country will be changed.
