The results of trade relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan showed an increase in trade turnover last year by 25% compared to 2016, the agency Khovar reports.
In 2017, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 840 million dollars.
The results of economic cooperation were summed up in Dushanbe at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission with the participation of representatives of ministries, departments and business entities of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
In 2017, imports of goods from Kazakhstan were made in the amount of $ 515 million, exports - $ 325 million with a hobby for $ 130 million.
During the meeting, the both sides discussed issues of expanding cooperation in attracting investments, creating joint ventures, implementing joint economic and investment projects.
The countries also agreed on bilateral cooperation in transport, environmental protection, civil aviation, industry, emergency situations and civil defence, education and science, agriculture, migration, energy and water resources, health, culture, sports and tourism.
