At the air exhibition Dubai Airshow 2017, the representatives of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates have discussed joining to use Kazakhstan's Baikonur cosmodrome.
Deputy head of Russian Government, Dmitriy Rogozin said that 'I conducted negotiations about the spaceport. They concerned possible use of Baikonur spaceport by Russia, Kazakhstan and UAE. We have agreed to continue negotiations at Baikonur', reports TASS news agency. He also commented that soon the negotiations would continue at the Baikonur.
Let us remind, Deputy Director General of the Russian State Space Corporation Roskosmos Sergey Saveliev said that 'in the following year, 11 space rockets were launched here, three more launches will be carried out before the New Year'. Therefore, Roskosmos reported that the number of missile launches from the Baikonur cosmodrome will increase in 2018.
