The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov and head of the presidential administration Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov to consider dismissing the governors of Fergana, Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions.
"At a meeting on August 2, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev tested the policies of the region's leaders. "I request Aripov and Nizomiddinov to make a proposal on dismissing of mayors. We will not develop with this kind of policy. If the policy of force was beneficial, we would prosper in thirty years", - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In addition, earlier, residents in some parts of Uzbekistan protested against the illegal demolishing of homes.
