The MFA of Kyrgyzstan summoned the Turkish ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Cengiz Kamil Fırat , in connection with his visit to the village of Orok, where a conflict had occurred between local residents the day before.
The Turkish side was handed a note in which the foreign ministry urged the ambassador to "not interfere in the internal affairs of Kyrgyzstan, to show restraint and respect for the national legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic", says the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
On June 5, in the village of Orok, Sokuluk district, Chui region, after ait-namaz, a conflict occurred between three teenagers. As a result, two teenagers born in 2003 were injured and were hospitalized.
Relatives of the victims gathered in the village and called for provocative actions.
The Turkish ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Cengiz Kamil Fırat, also arrived at the scene and met with local residents. In the comments to the journalists, he explained that an employee of the embassy lives in the village, which he came to pick up. However, users of social networks regarded his actions as interference in the internal affairs of the country.
