The meeting of the International Association of Theaters for Children and Youth (ASSITEJ) will take place in Tashkent on February 15, the UzTAG reports.
23 specialists from 17 countries including China, South Korea, Japan, India, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Georgia, Israel, Pakistan, Russia, Iran, Sri Lanka and neighboring countries will take part in the first meeting of the ASSITEJ Asia Meeting 2019. In addition to current members, there are invited specialists from Mongolia, Belarus, who applied for membership in the association.
Specialists will spend four days in Uzbekistan, watch performances, discuss topical issues in the field of children's theater, visit the sights of Tashkent. In addition to foreign specialists, local specialists participate in the meeting - heads of ten theaters, mainly working for children from all over Uzbekistan.
