Kyrgyz passport takes 76 place in the new Passport Index, reports the press service of the state registration service (SRS) of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A civilian (foreign) passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic is on the 76th position in the ranking of the most influential documents of the world in 2019.
As for the neighbors of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan’s passport occupies the 67th position. A Uzbekistan passport is slightly lower in position than a domestic one — it stands at the 80th. At the same step is the passport of Tajikistan.
In the ranking of passports Henley & Partners, Japan leads. Singapore and South Korea are one position behind, and the top three are France and Germany, ranking third.
It is noted that these indicators can be improved with the introduction of documents of a new generation, as this will positively affect the image of the state and contributes to the simplified regime for obtaining visas and visits to foreign countries.
