The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to make a list of Uzbek specialists abroad.
According to a decree published on the Lex.uz portal, Mirziyoyev ordered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the "El-Urt Umidi" Foundation to prepare and submit a list of Uzbek specialists who are abroad.
In addition, the decree stipulates issues such as the sending of Uzbek specialists to study abroad, attraction of foreign experts, the adoption of experts in the implementation of economic reforms.
Now, Uzbekistan has a shortage of specialists. In order to compensate for this gap, the authorities will re-train 4,000 specialists in international universities from 2019 to 2021. It is expected that the tuition fee will be paid at the expense of the "El-Urt Umidi" Foundation.
