According to the results of ten months of 2018, the volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan is estimated at 2 billion 242.9 million US dollars, reports the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by $ 160.2 million. Over 90% of transfers were receipts from Russia - $ 2 billion 203 million. In second place was the US - $ 21.8 million.
In October 2018, migrants transferred $ 271.1 million to Kyrgyzstan, which is $ 43.5 million more than a month earlier. For ten months, they transferred 444.7 million US dollars from Kyrgyzstan to other countries. The net inflow of remittances to the republic in January-October 2018 amounted to 1 billion 798.2 million US dollars.
