Uzbekistan has increased the size of fines for offenses in the field of environmental protection, including water pollution. It is reported by Hulk Susi, publishing "the Law on Amendments and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with increased responsibility for offenses in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, including drinking water".
New fines for citizens for violating rules for the protection of water resources, water use and other violations related to water pollution will now be from 5 to 30 minimum wages (MZRP, from 115 dollars to 690 dollars). Previously, there were from one to seven MZRP.
