"On August 10-11, a meeting of the Council for Tourism of the CIS member states will be held in Dushanbe. The event to begin with a report by the representative of Tajikistan on the state tourism policy in this country. Then the participants of the meeting will discuss the implementation of the action plan for 2018-2020 on the implementation of the strategy for the development of cooperation between the CIS member states in the tourism sector for the period to 2020, the implementation of which contributes''.
''Also, the growth of the number of tourists from the Commonwealth countries and the volume of export of tourist services, increase the level of employment of the population through the creation of new jobs in the industry, as well as an increase in the number of hotels, other accommodation facilities and tourism entities will be discussed," reads the report.
At the meeting, it is planned to approve the composition and procedure for organizing the activities of the working group to prepare a draft of a similar strategy for the period 2021-2030.
