The military of Kazakhstan and Mongolia plan joint exercises and training, the press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry reports.

"Kazakhstani military delegation led by First Deputy Defense Minister-Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces RK Lieutenant-General Murat Maikeev made an official visit to Mongolia. The parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation, in particular, sharing experience in the field of military education, military-technical cooperation and joint exercises and training, "the Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday.

During the visit, the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense met with the Mongolian President Haltmaagin Battulga, and also held bilateral meetings with the Mongolian Defense Minister Nyamagiin Enkhbold and the head of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces Dulamsurengiin Davaa.

The visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan ended with participation in the closing ceremony of the peacekeeping exercise Khaanquest-2018.
