Kazakhstan plans to increase trade turnover with Tatarstan to $ 1 billion.
"Economically, we have $ 700 million in trade, we need to raise to $ 1 billion, there is no problem, I would like to create joint ventures like with KamAZ. Now we are starting with the 405 plant (Aircraft Repair Plant No. 405, Almaty) for repairing aircraft and helicopters, then we can build it and sell it in the Central Asian region," said the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev at the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President on Friday.
He also named several spheres of activity, on which it is possible to develop cooperation with Tatarstan. Among them are engineering, aviation, agriculture, petrochemistry and oil refining and others.
