Together with food prices, the cost of soft drinks and alcohol has significantly increased in Turkmenistan, reports the Chronicle of Turkmenistan.
Prices have risen sharply in the last month. If in 2017 the drinks rose in price gradually, adding 0.5-1 manat to the price, now the price rises immediately to 2-10 manats.
Most of all, the price for Coca-Cola has increased. Earlier, a litre bottle cost 3.5 manats, a month ago its price rose to 10, and now - up to 16 manats.
Following the "Coca-Cola" rose in price drink "Pepsi", a half-litre bottle of which went up from 1 to 5 manats.
