Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Shavkat Mirziyev discussed the international and regional situation by phone, Akorda press service reports.
During the conversation, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of agreements at the highest level.
The heads of state also exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
The conversation took place on the initiative of the Uzbek side.
