The chairman of the National Bank, Daniyar Akishev said when Kazakhstanis will be able to withdraw their pension savings ahead of schedule, at the during a press conference in Almaty.
He noted that this issue is being actively discussed with the government and the business community in the framework of the proposals of the financial regulator on reforming the system of managing pension assets of citizens.
"It is assumed that this option will be provided to investors who have super-sufficient pension savings, which will save enough pension funds in the pension fund to ensure a stable income in the disabled age," Akishev said.
The head of the National Bank added that, according to preliminary calculations, there are up to 4,000 investors in Kazakhstan who could take advantage of the option to the early retirement of pension savings through the conclusion of pension annuity agreements with life insurance companies.
