Students from India and Pakistan to study medicine specialties in Petropavl, said Vice-Rector of the North Kazakhstan State University named after Manash Kozybaev, Yerbol Isakayev.
‘We have set ourselves this year to start training in medical specialties - general medicine and pharmacy, because there is a great need for such training in India and Pakistan, and medical universities in Kazakhstan cannot accept all comers. That is why the Ministry consider the possibility of opening medical specialties in the regions’, he said.
He also mentioned that nowadays, the university is preparing to apply for a license for the right to study in the specialties "Pharmacology" and "General Medicine."
‘We chose these directions, because they are shorter in terms of study terms - five years, and later our graduates will be able to get a narrow specialty in another higher educational institution. That is why there are two tasks are set: first, the training of local specialists, and secondly, the provision of educational services in these areas for foreign citizens. There is a huge demand for it. In April, will be organized departure to India for career-guidance work’, added Isakayev.
Also, they to create new laboratories for high quality training of medical specialists at university.
