A business-forum has started today in Tbilisi within the framework of the trade and economic mission of the delegation, organized by the International Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia with the help of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports press service of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.
The main aim of the event is to set direct contacts, strengthen trade relations between enterprises of Kazakhstan and Georgian potential buyers.
Kazakhstani delegation contains large companies in the mining, construction and machine-building spheres.
Moreover, within the framework of the trade and economic mission, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the International Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia.
In addition, it should be noted that Kazakhstan exports oil products to Georgia, nitrogen fertilizers, flat iron, cigarettes, frozen fish, medicines. At the same time, wine, soft drinks and water, alcohol tinctures, metal pipes, vaccines, milk and condensed cream are imported from Georgia to Kazakhstan.
In general, there was a positive dynamics in the rise of mutual trade in the last 2017 year. The international trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Georgia grew to 67% from January to July of this year comparing with the same period in 2016 and made up 77 million dollars.
