Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with the new building of the Tomotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Center, and also inspected the "TomoTherapyHI-HD" installation, which allows to treat oncological diseases by means of more accurate and high-quality irradiation based on the individual characteristics of each patient, reports Akorda.kz.

During the conversation with the staff of the medical institution, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the importance of introducing modern scientific approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

In addition, the President of Kazakhstan was informed about the activities of new enterprises specializing in the production of medical equipment and preparations.
