Kazakhstan and China have established a joint financial fund
On May 8, Kazakhstan and China have established a joint financial fund "Eurasia Nurly (Bright) Investment Fund". Aidar Arifhanov, Chairman of the Baiterek National Holding, and Sun Yang, director of the "CEO of CITIC Eurasian Capital Limited" company, and Lin Gang, the President of China-Eurasia Economic Foundation signed a memorandum to establish a joint fund.
As stated by Aidar Arifhanov, the amount of the fund created by Kazakhstan and China will be amounted to 500 million dollars. The investment of fund is mainly focused on the economy of Kazakhstan. In particular, the funds will be spent on the development of mineral resources of Kazakhstan, improvement of infrastructure and modern technologies and development of the agro-industrial complex.
