Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Vladimir Putin to pay a state visit to Uzbekistan.
On March 19, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, Mirziyoyev congratulated Putin on his convincing victory in the elections and invited to Uzbekistan.
Recall, on March 18, the presidential elections in Russia were held. At the end of the election, the country's current president, Vladimir Putin, won 76,65 percent of the vote. This is the unprecedented result in the history of Russia. However, independent experts argue that the current presidential election was "an unquestionable election," saying the Russian electoral system worked for Putin's victory.
