The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev became the "The person of the year".
According to the Association of Asian Journalists, Shavkat Mirzieev won the title of "Person of the Year" in the "politician" nomination. According to "The Korea Times", the vast majority of people who have chosen the "Person of the Year" believe that Mirziyoyev is making an unprecedented contribution to peace and stability through the improvement of Central Asian countries".
In addition, Honorary Chairman of LG Group Ku Bon Mo, Egyptian cardiac surgeon Magdi Habib Jacob and head coach of the Vietnam national team Pak Khan Sa won the nomination "Person of the Year".
The award ceremony will be in the spring of 2019 at the General Assembly of the Asian Journalists Association.
