The presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev and Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation by telephone, reports the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
"During the conversation, the heads of state discussed the current state and prospects of multi-faceted bilateral cooperation in the context of previously reached agreements at the highest level", reads the message.
The presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan noted with satisfaction, as follows, the steady growth in the volume of mutual trade, the expansion of its range. Special attention is paid to the effective use of the potential of interregional cooperation.
Also during the conversation, mutual interest was confirmed in the development of business cooperation in specific projects of cooperation in industry, energy, transport and communications, agriculture and other fields.
