Within the framework of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyeev, 20 documents have been signed in India, the press service of the Uzbek President reports.
The exchange of documents took place following the results of the high-level talks in New Delhi.
It is noted that a joint statement of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyev and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was adopted.
"Within the framework of the visit, 20 documents have been signed regarding scientific and technical cooperation, agriculture, tourism, military education, justice, health and medical science, pharmaceuticals, space exploration for peaceful purposes and other areas," the message reads.
In addition, agreements have been signed on the establishment of cooperation between the Andijan region and the state of Gujarat, the cities of Samarkand and Agra, the organization of a free pharmaceutical zone.
