"At the suggestion of the Turkmen side, the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State to hold on October 11, 2019 in Ashgabat," the head of the CIS Executive Committee S. Lebedev said at the CIS summit in Dushanbe in an enlarged format.
According to him, the heads of CIS states during the meeting in a narrow group "exchanged views on topical issues of the commonwealth".
"It was decided to chair Turkmenistan in the CIS in 2019. Also, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will co-chair next year," he added.
