- It is necessary to ensure timely harvesting. The weather favors us. It is impossible to delay the work, because it leads to significant costs, - said the President of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the main results of social and economic development and prospects of the agricultural sector of the Akmola region.
The Head of State stressed the importance of applying advanced scientific achievements and digitization in the agro-industrial complex.
- In the Shortandy region, an electronic map of the fields is implemented on an experimental basis, satellite monitoring of the state of crops is conducted, spot seeding of seeds and differentiated application of fertilizers are carried out. This makes it possible to increase labor productivity by 2 times, and the yield - by more than 5 quintals per hectare, while reducing costs by 20%," the President of Kazakhstan noted.
In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev inspected the exhibition, at which samples of agricultural machinery of domestic and foreign production were presented.
