The Ministry of Energy has restricted imports of Russian petrol to Kazakhstan.
As stated by the Deputy Minister of Energy Bolat Aksholakov, there is sufficient stock of AI-92 gasoline in Kazakhstan. So, the department's management agreed with the Russian side to restrict the entry of Russian petrol to Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Energy, Kazakhstan has already purchased 900 thousand tons of petrol, 400 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 250-270 thousand tons of air kerosene. However, after the modernization of refineries, the import of gasoline AI-92 has been ineffective.
