On behalf of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyayev, the village of Manas changed beyond recognition for 45 days, reports the press service of President.
The President ordered the restoration of the formerly dilapidated village of Manas, which accommodates more than 6,500 residents in February.
"It hurts that our people live in such conditions. I want to show the example of Manas what works and tasks are facing us. It will be difficult, hard, painful ... But if we do not start from the most difficult village, then people will not believe us. They will never believe" he said about two months ago.
The government constructed new, multi-storey buildings to replace older houses, as well as a modern kindergarten, a medical centre and a sports field.
On March 30, Shavkat Mirziyayev visited the rebuilt village. He drew attention to the creation of an agro-industrial complex and a food cluster, a clinic with therapeutic procedures based on camel milk.
