The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan organizes it with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan (UNDP) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The seminar is organized within the framework of official development assistance, which Kazakhstan provides to Afghanistan, and is aimed at strengthening maternal and child health. Over 80% of the participants in the event were Afghan women.
30 representatives of Afghanistan working in the health sector attend a two-week seminar. Participants are to familiarize themselves with the healthcare system in Kazakhstan with a focus on the health of mother and child, the principles of the work of perinatal centers and their structure.
Recall, in July 2017, the first stage of this project was implemented. 24 representatives of Afghanistan, working in public administration and education, attended the seminar.
