Kazakhstan’s Ministry of National Economy jointly with the World Bank Group conducted a presentation of the sub-national report "Doing business".
The report of the sub-national rating "Doing Business" in Kazakhstan contains a comparative analysis of four indicators: the opening of enterprises, obtaining construction permits, connecting to the power supply system and registering property.
According to the vice-minister of National Economy Aybatyr Zhumagulov, in 2017 the research was conducted in 2 cities and 6 regions of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the measures taken, Kazakhstan in 2017 ranked 36th according to the World Bank's rating "Doing business".
According to him, Kazakhstan sets itself an ambitious task to enter the top 30 of the club of developed countries. To achieve this goal, a systematic policy of deregulating the business is being implemented, the licensing system is being improved, the control and supervision activities of state bodies are being optimized, and the business climate is improving.
