The unemployment rate in Kazakhstan in February was 5%, reports Kazakhstan’s Committee of statistics of the Ministry of National Economy.
In Kazakhstan, the number of unemployed in February 2018, according to estimates, was 440.7 thousand people, which is 4.9 percent of the economically active population (in January - 4.9 percent), the Committee announced.
Officially, as of the end of February, 120.3 thousand people were registered as unemployed in the employment agencies of Kazakhstan, or 1.3% of the economically active population of the country.
