Tomorrow will be delivered Kazakh President Nazarbayev's Annual State of the Nation Address to the people of Kazakhstan. It is devoted to the development of the country in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
‘Today, humanity is entering the era of a new industrial revolution. Modern technologies change the world. Global technological shifts carry both challenges and new growth opportunities. This is our historic chance for accelerated entry into the list of the 30 most developed countries in the world’, said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
He puts ten main tasks that have to be addressed, which will be delivered in detail tomorrow on January 10, 2018.
The first. Kazakhstan's industry should become a leader in new technologies. Our industry needs to increase the level of labour productivity through the digitisation of production processes and the development of modern business models.
The second. Improving the efficiency of resource use by technology solutions is necessary.
Third. Agricultural sector should be improved to a new technological level.
Fourth. Transport and logistics infrastructure need further developments: an introduction of digital technologies and creation of an intelligent transport system.
Fifth. Application of modern technologies in construction, housing and communal services.
The sixth. "Reloading" the financial sector. Improvements to the banking system. It is necessary to significantly increase the responsibility of those who own banks and those who manage them.
Seventh. A new quality of human capital. Improvements in the education system, healthcare and social payments.
Eighth. Effective public administration. The economic independence of regions and local self-government will be expanded.
The ninth. The rule of law and the fight against corruption remain the priority of state policy.
The tenth. Smart City technologies will efficiently solve the problems of growing cities and increase their attractiveness for investors.
The President also highlighted Kazakhstani people’s unity in dealing with these issues.
