Former president of Georgia, ex-governor of Odessa region Mikheil Saakashvili was forbidden to enter the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.
According to local media, the Ukrainian border service banned Mikheil Saakashvili from entering the country until 2021. Lawyer of Mikheil Saakashvili, Ruslan Chernolutski, confirmed this information and said that he does not agree with the decision of Kiev and will appeal to the Supreme Court of Ukraine in the future.
Recall, on February 12 Mikheil Saakashvili was detained in Kiev and deported to Poland. Later, he said that he was deported from Ukraine territory because of the country's president, Peter Poroshenko. And he asked help from the Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel and the European Union.
