The Kazakh was killed as a result of militants' attack on the Intercontinental hotel in Kabul, reports Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
‘The tragic message came from Afghanistan, a citizen of Kazakhstan died, born in 1978, because of an attack by militants on the Intercontinental hotel in Kabul. We express our deep condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased’, said the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Anuar Zhainakov.
Recall, on 20 January, at least 30 people were killed on a hotel in the Afghan capital. Among the victims of the shooting are a citizen of Kazakhstan and six Ukrainian citizens.
More than 150 people, including 41 foreigners rescued to flee from the scene of the attack, official representative for the Interior Ministry of Afghanistan Najib Danish said. Among the survivors, ten people were wounded, including six members of the security forces.
