Today in several cities of Kazakhstan protest actions took place.

Police detained dozens of people in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent. Protesters protested against "Chinese expansion" and shouted "Shal (Nazarbayev) is enemy". According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 51 people have been detained today in Almaty and Nur-Sultan.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office called on the population not to proceed to an unsanctioned rally.

Inaddition, several days ago ex-banker, opposition politician Mukhtar Ablyazov called on the people to go to the protest action "Shal (Nazarbayev) is enemy".
