Yesterday, on July 3, supporters of former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev demanded the resignation of the current authority in Bishkek.

According to participants of the protest, the current president of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov did not fulfill the promises given in 2017.

Besides, it should be noted that during the rally a special resolution was adopted. "Lies and deception have become a tool of the state policy, the rights of citizens have been violated, and the family-clan regime of Jeenbekov-Matraimov is dominated by the country", says in the resolution.

In addition, the strikers have set several requirements: stopping the lawlessness, resigning the government, changing the heads of the law-enforcement agencies, the Prosecutor-General's Office, the Interior Ministry, and releasing convicted political activists.

The current president, Jeenbekov, was given two months to meet the above requirements. In case of failure, the nationwide headquarters was instructed to hold protest actions throughout the country in order to demand the resignation of the president and the parliament of the country.
