Production of gold has risen by 16% in a year, silver - has decreased by 12% in a year in Kazakhstan, energyprom.kz reports.

According to the results of October 2017,  the average price of silver jewelry  is 1369 tenge per gram, + 1% per month and + 7% year-to-year. Silver jewelry is the most expensive for citizens of Atyrau (1876 tenge per gram, + 19.2% per year) and Almaty (1785 tenge per gram, + 3.5% per year).

Price on gold jewelry has increased by 9.6 percent, to 14,900 tenge per gram (monthly price growth made 0.5 percent).  For example, in the capital city of Kazakhstan, Astana gold jewelry has been selling for 23.7 thousand tenge per gram, or the price has increased + 19.7% per year. However,  in Kokshetau 1 gram gold increased more than 6.5 thousand tenge, and price increased by 22.1% per year.

Key producing regions of gold are East Kazakhstan region and Karaganda region. The main gold mining regions of Kazakhstan are Akmola and East Kazakhstan regions.
